The famed Australian comedy duo will return to Bendigo in February when they jet into central Victoria with their latest show – Fly – as part of a 10-town tour in the first part of 2019.
Fly brings Lano and Woodley back together after 12 years and retells the story of the Wright brothers’ pioneering efforts in flight.
The show won the People’s Choice Award at this year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
“Performing as Lano & Woodley again was just like riding a bike,” Woodley said.
“Actually, it was probably more like riding a crazy pig through a crowded market, but my point is I felt completely at home.”
As well as visiting regional cities, Lano and Woodley’s Fly will also return for shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.
“Well, after so many amazing shows in 2018, we’ve well and truly refined the show, and we’ve cut out all the annoying bits - but Frank’s still in it,” Lane said.
Lane last performed in Bendigo in April, 2017, with opera singer David Hobson for their show In Tails.
Lano and Woodley’s Fly is at the Ulumbarra Theatre on Saturday, February 23.
Tickets go on sale on November 12. For more details log on to www.lanoandwoodley.com.au
