The Victorian government has pledged to establish a $10 million grants program for small-scale agribusinesses that produce craft food and beverages, if re-elected this month.

Premier Daniel Andrews says the money would help local producers achieve on "the world stage" with up to $200,000 for businesses who can show the investment would help them scale-up their operations and create new and local jobs.
Labor also plans to create a small-scale producers' ministerial advisory committee with representatives from small-scale brewing, dairy, livestock, distilling, horticulture and other businesses.
"There is a food, beer and spirit revolution going on in Victoria and we want to take it to the world, Mr Andrews said in a statement.
"From jam to gin, this is an investment in local producers and local jobs - and a tourism boom for regional Victoria."
