“There’s not too many things that can happen that we’re not prepared for,” he said.
The Bendigo Show will throw open its gates at 9am on Friday with about 10,000 people expected to visit the two-day event.
Mr Furze said the rides would be popular and created a great atmosphere for visitors.
“People make use of the rides and amusements area the most. It’s the key to the show experience,” he said.
“There are couple of rides that haven’t been here before which is really good. One is called The Claw, we have a new ghost train and The Beast is back for the second time.”
A number of community groups and organisations will also host exhibitions, displays and stalls.
Bendigo Show is open from 9am to 9pm on Friday and Saturday night. Adults $20, children up to 15 $10. Family tickets are $50.
