Play in the 35th Australian Open Veterans Table Tennis Championships got underway on Sunday after an official opening ceremony on Saturday.
The action will continue until next Saturday.
Nearly 460 players have signed on for the prestigious tournament, many of them from overseas,
They will compete in categories from over-30 to 80-years-old.
