The Dragons moved to 5-3 following a 13-0 victory against Northern Raiders (3-5) at D.R. Atkinson Reserve in Reservoir last Sunday.
It followed an 85-0 mauling of Peninsula Sharks the previous week and a 54-16 win against Pakenham Silverbacks.
The Dragons face a stern test this Saturday against the third-placed Monash Warriors (6-2) at Tom Flood Sports Centre.
The clash will be the Dragons’ second of three home games this season.
Their regular season commitments will end in Bendigo on October 27 against the 2-7 Monash Barbarians.
