Public relations officer John Giffin said many of the approximately 700 stallholders were expecting the downturn given dry and drought conditions across much of eastern Australia.
Mr Giffin believed machinery sales were most affected as people held off spending big money unnecessarily. Smaller items appeared to have sold well.

Crowd numbers across the three days were good, with Mr Giffin highlighting the number of families that attended.
Organisers were already turning their attention to next year’s event and getting ready to start cleaning the site.
“Most of the machinery leaves the site tonight and over the next couple of days,” Mr Giffin said.
