Community Care director Matthew Parkinson said the event raised awareness about the “marginalised, vulnerable and homeless” within the community.
“There are two important elements to the event, to be a voice for the voiceless and to help people reach their full potential,” Mr Parkinson said.
MADCOW stands for Make A Difference Change Our World, a motto which aligns with Community Care’s mission to help the community.
“We want the community to engage with the stampede and to be part of the event to identify that we can make Bendigo better if we do this together,” Mr Parkinson said.
The stampede will take place at Lake Weeroona on Saturday between 8am-2pm.
