The Bendigo City FC under-18s team will tackle the Melbourne Football Stars at the Kevin Gibbons Synthetic Pitch on October 7 from 1pm.
Bendigo City FC president Glenn Walker said the Stars game will be a great hit-out for the youth team.
“Melbourne Football Stars is an organisation that provides Melbourne's elite youth footballers with an opportunity to travel to Europe to gain an insight into the world of professional football,” he said.
“The team will take part in games with top division football academies and be exposed to the history, culture and atmosphere of top-class football.
“Stars head coach and director George Campbell has a coaching and playing resume that stretches for miles, at all levels.
“He played at Aberdeen in the Scottish Premier League, as well as in Australia’s national league with South Melbourne, and represented his country as a youth player.
“His football pedigree is first class, and having someone like him visit Bendigo will be a huge boon for our players and our club.”
Bendigo City FC under-18s had a strong season in 2018, finishing ninth on the NPL ladder.
