Acting Senior Sergeant Brian Hansen for Division 5 Brian Hansen encouraged anyone committed to the community, who enjoys diversity and who likes a challenge to come.
Acting Senior Sergeant Hansen said the session was an opportunity for those who might be interested in a career in the police.
He said there was no set age bracket for applicants, but that police were looking for anyone who passes the selection process.
“Victoria Police are keen to expand on its already diverse background with our recruits,” he said.
“We’re looking for people from all walks of life as recruits. There’s a definite opportunity for people from diverse and cultural backgrounds to apply.”
The Police Information Session will take place on Thursday September 13, from 6pm-7.30pm at 121 View Street.
