A 45-year-old was found dead at a Derby Road home shortly after 12.30pm on Sunday.
A 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy, both from Maryborough, have each been charged with one count of murder.
They have been remanded to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
UPDATE 6.55pm: Homicide Squad detectives are tonight in Maryborough, following the discovery of a man’s body inside a Derby Road home.
Victoria Police tonight said the death had been deemed suspicious and the investigation was ongoing.

UPDATE: 4.00pm – Shocked neighbours and nearby business owners on a Maryborough street where a man’s body was found described the discovery as ‘terrible’ and ‘out of the blue’.
“It’s a quiet part of town, a nice quiet neighbourhood,” one resident said.
“I’m not really sure what’s going on, it has come out of the blue,” another added.
A nearby business owner said the news came as a shock.
“It’s terrible,” she said.
UPDATE 2.15pm – Homicide Squad detectives are travelling to Maryborough following the discovery of a deceased man.
EARLIER – Police are at an address in Maryborough following the discovery of a deceased man.
Victoria police said the man was located on Derby Road shortly after 12.30pm on Sunday.
The exact cause of the man’s death is yet to be determined.

Ambulance Victoria confirmed it was called to an address in Derby Road but the matter was now with police.
