RICHMOND’S VFLW team will play its second home game of the season at the QEO on Sunday when it battles the Casey Demons.

The Tigers have a partnership with the Bendigo Thunder and are captained by Jess Kennedy – a former Thunder player.
Another ex-Thunder player in Elise Hogan is the Tigers’ vice-captain.
“It’s terrific that we have a day of women’s footy being played at the QEO, the home of country footy, and a great way we can show off the pathways that now exist for females playing football,” said Richmond VFLW’s Kate Sheahan.
“We are looking forward to showing Central Victoria our game style and game plan and how the VFLW is played”
“Our team will consist of many girls from country Victoria, including Bendigo, Echuca, Mildura, Swan Hill, Shepparton, so we want to show young girls what they can aspire to.”
