Bendigo Pioneers duo Zane Keighran and Sam Conforti were on target for the Victoria Country under-18s and under-16s at the weekend.

Keighran kicked one goal on debut at the National Under-18 Championships as Vic Country went down to Vic Metro 13.6 (84) to 8.10 (58) at the MCG on Sunday.
Keighran, who played mainly through the midfield, nailed a set shot from 40m out in the third quarter.
The under-18 titles continue on Wednesday, with Vic Country to play Western Australia at GMHBA Stadium in Geelong.
Conforti, who is co-captain of the Vic Country under-16s, kicked two goals in his side’s round one national championship loss to Vic Metro at Ikon Park.
Vic Metro won a tight battle 12.9 (81) to 11.7 (73).
The next round of the under-16 titles takes place on July 9 in Southport, Queensland.
