City of Greater Bendigo council workers are cleaning up after a truck was wedged underneath a tree in Condon Street this afternoon.
The tree’s roots were damaged and had to be removed.
The truck has been driven away with minimal damage.
The SES and police have left the scene.

A Bendigo State Emergency Service crew is on scene for one of its more unusual jobs in Condon Street, Kennington.
A reversing rental truck attempting to park has clipped a tree, according to police officers at the scene.
The tree has slumped onto the truck, wedging it.
City bound traffic travelling along the road are not being diverted, but SES crews are currently on scene and assessing how to remove the tree without it falling onto the road.
No-one was injured in the low speed incident.
