The four-day festival runs from June 8 to 11 with various jazz styles and era set to entertain music lovers.
This year is the festival’s fifth iteration and highlights include guest artists Astrid Sulaiman (piano) and Yuri Mahatma (guitar) with their quartet from Bali.
The Balinese performers are playing as part of a partnership with Ubud Village Jazz Festival with a view to cultural exchange and performance opportunities for jazz artists.
A number of talented musicians will also make their debut as the Goldfields Jazz Orchestra.
Young musicians will perform with veterans as part of the festival’s new youth segment.
Day passes or weekend passes are available from www.castlemainejazzfestival.com.au
Tickets will also be available during the festival at the box office in The Ray Bradfield rooms, at the rear of the Castlemaine Visitor Information Centre.
