Castlemaine’s Kal Huntly and Golden Square’s Daniel Keating have been added to the Victoria Country Young Guns team to play Vic Metro on Saturday.
Huntly and Keating will be joined by Strathfieldsaye’s Bailey Henderson in the game at North Port Oval.
The Young Guns series is an opportunity for young players not involved in the AFL under-18 championships to impress AFL scouts.
Huntly is on Essendon’s VFL list and has impressed with the BFNL at inter-league level.
Keating has sparked interest from AFL clubs on the back of his play as a 19-year-old with the Bendigo Pioneers in the TAC Cup.
Henderson played in game one of the Young Guns series earlier this season and has continued his good form with the Pioneers.
Former Strathfieldsaye coach Darryl Wilson and Bendigo Pioneers’ Danny O’Bree are assistant coaches for the Vic Country team.
The game starts at 11am.
