This year the club will recognise the milestone years for several football – 1958 (seniors), 1968 (seniors and reserves) and 1988 (senior) premierships and the 1998 B Grade netball premiership.
Following Saturday’s matches, a carvery dinner will be served for $25 per person and musician Toli Wanafalea will perform live.
The club invites and welcomes all past players, supporters and their partners to join in the festivities and continue the annual tradition that was started by the Demons’ sole club legend – the late Eddie Scarff.
On the field, it’s a massive day for the Demons.
The senior football team needs to bounce back after last round’s shock loss to Heathcote. A win would keep the Demons in touch with the top five.
In netball, the A-grade clash between White Hills and Colbinabbin is the most eagerly-anticipated match of the season.
After playing off in last year’s grand final, both teams are undefeated this season heading into round seven.
