The condition of a cyclist injured in a Maiden Gully accident last week has been downgraded.
A spokesperson for the Royal Melbourne Hospital said the female cyclist’s condition had been changed from critical to serious.

Ambulance Victoria says a motorcyclist in their 20s is being airlifted to Melbourne in a critical condition after the crash.

A Victoria Police spokesman said there was a crash involving a van and motorbike at 11.20am.
A female rider has been airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police and Country Fire Authority crews are at the scene.
A road block remains in place between Andrews Road and Lyndam Avenue in Maiden Gully.

VicRoads is advising people to seek an alternate route after a collision in Edwards Road, Maiden Gully.
The road would be closed in both directions between Andrews Road and Lyndam Avenue.
VicRoads advised motorists to delay their travel or seek an alternate route.
