The Pioneers, who are 1-7, round out their season against the Dandenong Stingrays (3-5) at RAMS Arena from 2.45pm.
“With such a young list we’ll be hoping to finish the season off on Saturday with defined effort and, hopefully, the scoreboard will be in our favour,” Pioneers coach Shawn McCormick said.
“The year has been really enjoyable and we’ve seen improvement and growth in our players individually.
“Hopefully, all the girls will go back to their community-based clubs with a greater foundation and continue to advocate and enhance girls football in the region.”
