However, the Thunder squandered the chance for a bigger winning margin with some wayward kicking at goal as they won 15.25 (115) to 0.1 (1) at Springfield Park to remain unbeaten.
Andrea Walsh (seven) and Bella Ayre (four) combined for 11 goals for the Thunder, who were off target from the outset when they had 2.11 on the board at quarter-time.
“We missed some goals early that we definitely should have kicked, but over the last three quarters we were able to open up our forward line and the girls did a really good job,” Thunder coach Luis Alvarez-Harris said.
Olivia McEvoy through the midfield was best for the Thunder.
