Grenfell was presented with award at the inaugural TFV presentation night in Melbourne on Saturday.
He viewed the award as recognition for the many hours he and his committee dedicated to the Bendigo community.
More than 200 players are affiliated with the Bendigo association, which co-ordinates weekly men’s and women’s matches at Strathfieldsaye.
