Import Ray Turner added his name to the league’s list of weekly winners with a beastly weekend performance in wins against Mount Gambier Pioneers and Albury-Wodonga Bandits.
The American averaged 23 points, 20.5 rebounds, two steals and two blocked shots in a pair of impressive victories for the undefeated Braves (4-0).
Turner was close to his best with 25 points and 25 rebounds on Friday night as the Braves defeated the Pioneers in Mount Gambier for the first time since 2012.
The league newcomer sits second in the league for rebounds per game at 14.5.
Jeremy Kendle was the winner of the award in week one for a stellar 36-points, seven-assists and four steals game against Diamond Valley Eagles.
