Forest Fire Management Victoria and the CFA will carry out the planned burns on seven hectares in the Mount Alexander Regional Park, four kilometres east of Harcourt on Wednesday and Thursday.
This burn should be completed between 9am and 8pm on Wednesday but smoke may be visible until Thursday 26 April.
Smoke may be visible from Castlemaine, Harcourt, Sutton Grange and surrounding areas.
Road travel may be hazardous due to low visibility associated with smoke and access to walking tracks, car parks, camping grounds and picnic sites in areas close to or in burn areas may be restricted.
Anyone affected by smoke exposure, should seek medical advice or call Nurse on Call on 1300 606 024.
