Both the hospital’s chief executive officer, Trevor Matheson and pastoral care coordinator Lynda Wyles had their heads shaved on Thursday.
Hairdressers from Strath Hill Hair and Beauty did the honours.
The St John of God Bendigo Relay for Life team aspired to raise $2000 for the Cancer Council.
They were well on the way to reaching their goal, according to the online tally, at the end of March.
Bendigo’s 2018 Relay for Life is scheduled for April 20 at Backhaus Oval in Golden Square.
