The Bendigo City FC under-18 and under-16 squads scored impressive wins over St Albans in the latest NPL Victoria round of action.

The under-18s broke their duck when they scored a hard-fought 2-1 win on home turf, while the under-16s made it two wins for the season on the back of their 3-2 triumph.
After holding the powerful Melbourne Victory squad to a draw the previous week, the under-18s continued their good form against St Albans.
A first half strike from Ma Htoo Ra Soe Tee Klu gave Bendigo City the lead before Lachlan Capp doubled the advantage in the 50th minute.
A late St Albans goal set up a grandstand finish, but Bendigo defended stoutly to secure the three points.
The under-18s are in 12th place on the ladder with four points.
A brace from Ma Kor Hser Thay and Caydn Thompson’s first goal of the season lifted the under-16s to victory.
The 3-2 win catapulted the under-16s to eighth place on the ladder after four rounds, just four points behind top team Werribee City.
The Bendigo City FC under-15s went down 4-2 to St Albans in an entertaining contest.
Jarrod Milne and Tom Slaytor found the back of the net for Bendigo City.
A Kaidyn Tucker goal gave the Bendigo City under-14s a 1-0 lead at half-time of their clash with St Albans.
However, the visitors had the better of the second half and bounced back to win 2-1.
The under-13 game was a seven-goal thriller.
Bendigo City looked set for a heavy defeat when it trailed 3-1 at half-time, but the young side fought back hard in the second half.
St Albans eventually held on to win 4-3. Mac Hilson, Eli Harvey and Hamish Walker scored for Bendigo.
The Bendigo City FC teams are away to Avondale in Sunday’s fifth round.
