The Choir of Man will arrive at Ulumbarra Theatre on Sunday, March 25, and sees the cast of blokes singing everything from traditonal Celtic tunes to classic rock and even some Adele.
Performer Ben Norris said the show told men it is alright to sing without being fuelled by alcohol.
“Hopefully there is something for everyone. We do some more modern hits as well as Irish folk and classical operatic stuff,” he said.
“Karaoke is a big thing all over the world and this show gives men (the idea) that they don’t need to be drunk to sing. They can be comfortable in that vulnerabilty.
“The show is not an end of the night pissed comic-type thing. There are moments that are unapologetically nice.”
The Choir of Man premiered at the Edinburgh Festival and toured to the Adelaide Fringe Festival this year.
