The Redbacks (7-103) won Sunday’s under-12A grand final against Huntly-North Epsom (60) at Shadforth Park.
The young Redbacks produced a fine team effort with bat and ball to get the chocolates.
Henry Edwards (24 not out), Jacob Austin (16 and 2-2) and Wil Pinniger (13 and 1-7) led the charge for Bendigo United. Deacon Wheelhouse (13 and three wickets) had a great all-round game for the Power.
The remaining grand finals will be played this weekend.
In under-16A it will be Strathdale-Maristians versus Bendigo. The Suns qualified on the back of a thrilling two-wicket win over Strathfieldsaye, while the Goers upset Eaglehawk.
Minor premier Kangaroo Flat advanced to the under-14A grand final after seeing off a gallant White Hills in their semi-final clash.
The Roos will tackle Strathfieldsaye after the Jets defeated Bendigo United by seven wickets.
In under-16B, Huntly-North Epsom will play Marong in the grand final. The Power and Panthers scored impressive semi-final wins over Bendigo and Strathdale respectively.
Maiden Gully and Strathfieldsaye will clash in the under-14B grand final.
Maiden Gully defeated Bendigo United by 10 wickets in one semi-final, while Strathfieldsaye outplayed the Bendigo United Redbacks by 102 runs.
