Nolan proved far too strong for his rivals to win the backmarkers mile on Sunday night in front of his home crowd.
It was the fourth win in a streak that started at the Wangaratta Gift meeting in late January.
His win there over 3200m was followed by subsequent victories in early February at Ballarat over 1600m and Keilor over 800m.
In a friendly warning to his rivals, Nolan suggested he was not done winning races this season.
“I keep training hard and I keep running hard – I don’t expect it to end anytime soon. This is one of my proudest wins.,” he said.
