The Hawks have officially signed former White Hills and Strathfieldsaye defender Jake Dickens and Bendigo Pioneers-listed midfielder Deklan Loveridge, while mobile forward Shaun Knott has also agreed to return to the Borough.
Dickens finished runner-up in the White Hills best and fairest in 2017 and will provide the Hawks with more depth down back.
Dickens' kicking and reading of the play are his strengths and his arrival will potentially allow the Hawks to play Brenton Conforti as a permanent forward.
Conforti was the Hawks' best defender before spending more time forward in the second half of the 2017 season. The move was an integral part of Eaglehawk's surge to the BFNL grand final.
After struggling to kick goals in the first half of 2017, the Hawks appear to have one of the most dynamic forward lines in the BFNL heading into 2018.
Conforti and Knott could potentially play across half-forward, with Matt Gretgrix and Sean Williams deep in attack and a combination of Ben McPhee, Riley Saunders, Gedd Hommelhoff and Matt Filo at their feet.
Knott had a superb BFNL finals series in 2016 before moving to the Mornington-Peninsula in 2017 where he played with Mt Eliza.
Loveridge has relocated to Bendigo from Mildura to play TAC Cup footy with the Pioneers.
The strongly-built midfielder is a former Victorian under-12 representative.
Loveridge is the second player from the Sunraysia Football League to join the Hawks this season after former Merbein midfielder/forward Jack Fallon signed late last year.
Eaglehawk starts its 2018 campaign with a grand final re-match against Strathfieldsaye on April 14 at Canterbury Park.
