The 25th running of the Caps Cup drew many competitors to the Tom Flood Sports Centre.
Two heats were run to decide the 24 finalists for the two-mile, or 3km duel.
Heat winners were Ben Foster and Jade Maddern.
In the final it was Henry who surged clear as the bell was rung by Alan Capuano, father of David, and long-time lap counter for the Bendigo and District Cycling Club.
Henry won the classic ahead of Aidan Hamilton, Connor Sens, Robert Gartside and Jade Maddern.
The Lake View Hotel ride of the night award was later presented to Connor Sens.
The night’s action included the DCK Real Estate Crystal Classic.
Winner of the 1000m wheelrace for women was Jasmine Eddy from Olivia Sens, Tayla Evans and Alessia McCaig.
