Supermarkets are often packed with time-poor shoppers struggling to organise themselves ahead of that one day a year the stores all close.
And worse, many shops change their hours around Christmas, throwing you off.
But don’t panic if you’ve put off doing your Christmas Day food shopping.
We’ve got a guide below to help you know when the supermarkets are opened – and when they’re closed –over the next week.
Find your preferred store, check the hours, take a deep breath and get ready to shop!
Woolworths
All stores are closed Christmas Day.
Bendigo Market Place: Open from 7am until midnight every day to Christmas Eve, when it closes at 10pm. It will re-open at 8am to 10pm on Boxing Day.
Golden Square: Open from 6.30am to midnight every day except Christmas Eve, when it closes at 10pm. It will be open from 8am to 8pm on Boxing Day.
Kennington Village: Open from 7am to midnight every day, until a 10pm close on Christmas Eve. It’s open 8am to 9pm on Boxing Day.
Epsom: Open from 6.30am to midnight, except Christmas Eve when it closes at 10pm. It will be open from 8am to 9pm on Boxing Day.
Lansell Square: Open from 7am to 10pm every day in the lead-up to Christmas. Open on Boxing Day from 8am to 8pm.

Coles
All stores are closed Christmas Day.
Bendigo (Williamson Street): Open 6am to midnight each day. It will close at 11pm on Christmas Eve.
East Bendigo (McIvor Highway): Open 7am to to midnight every day, except Saturday and Sunday when it opens at 6am. It will close at 11pm on Christmas Eve.
Kangaroo Flat: Open 6am to midnight every day.
Aldi
All stores will be closed Christmas Day.
Eaglehawk: Open 8.30am to 8pm every day until Christmas Eve, when the store closes at 7pm. It will open on Boxing Day from 9am to 6pm.
Epsom: Open 8.30am to 8pm every day until Christmas Eve, when the store closes at 7pm. It will open on Boxing Day from 9am to 6pm.
Kangaroo Flat: Open 8.30am to 8pm every day until Christmas Eve, when the store closes at 7pm. It will open on Boxing Day from 9am to 6pm.
Strathdale: Open 8.30am to 8pm every day until Christmas Eve, when the store closes at 7pm. It will open on Boxing Day from 9am to 6pm.
Normal trading hours will return from December 27. In Victoria, Aldi will trade from 8.30am to 7pm on New Year’s Eve and from 10 to 6pm on New Year’s Day.
