The Jets held their junior clinic for T20 Blast players through to the under-14s, with more than 100 of the club’s young cricketers taking part.
The clinic was run by the club’s senior players, as well as former Strathfieldsaye fast bowler Crone.
“Xavier has been a part of our junior clinic night during his time at the club, which was a great message for our young boys and girls to hear and think that they could too be where he is today,” Strathfieldsaye’s Brent Yates said.
“Xavier did an awesome job and interacted so well through all the levels and having the juniors engaged when working with them.”
Crone, 19, has been playing practice matches with the Melbourne Renegades in the lead-up to the Big Bash season that starts next Tuesday.
