Craig Green with a pair of seconds in the earlier 800m and 1000m events failed to fire over 1600m last week, but Thursday night’s distance should be more in his favour.
Green can expect a challenge from Lachlan Carr and Issac Everett, who has been consistent in finishing just outside the placings.
Will McCaig with the fastest time in the 1600m shouldn’t be discounted, along with Greg Hilson, who was runner-up last week.
