Last year was the first time in 11 years the Elmore Harness Racing Club hosted a Boxing Day meeting at its Hunter Park Raceway.
The Boxing Day meeting will include children’s entertainment and live music, bookmakers, TAB facilities, pony trots and a monster raffle.
And for those wanting to watch the cricket, the Boxing Day Test between Australia and England from the MCG will also be telecast.
Gates open at 11.30am.
Entry is $10, while children are free.
Elmore is one of only two harness racing meetings in Victoria on Boxing Day.
The other is a night meeting at Ballarat.
Last year’s Elmore Cup was won by Classic Shark, trained by Tim McGuigan and driven by Darby McGuigan.
