The team claimed Cricket Victoria’s T20 Blast School Cup competition by beating Lavalla College Traralgon by 91 runs in the final.
The team was captained by Mackenzee Porter and coached by Dennis McCormick.
The side also recently won the School Sport Victoria Year 7 girls cricket competition, beating Euroa by 35 runs, to cap a big year.
Year 7 girls winning team – Amber Bird, Elysia Bratby, Charley Cairnes, Emily Dunstan, Jeanette Ross, Jenna Smith, Jasmine Chambers, Octavia Di Donato, Taylah Murphy, Mackenzee Porter, Macey Curnow, Isabelle Dole.

Meanwhile, BSE also had two other teams compete in the state finals of the T20 Blast School Cup competition – intermediate boys and Year 8 boys.
All three teams reached the state finals after winning their way through both district and regional rounds.
