Former White Hills star Brayden Stepien blasted his maiden first XI century in Victoria Premier Cricket on Saturday.

Playing in a T20 match against Casey-South Melbourne at Casey Fields, Stepien smashed an unbeaten 108 from just 63 balls to lead the Blues to a big victory.
After watching his captain Evan Gulbis get dismissed on the first ball of the day, Stepien took control hitting seven sixes and seven fours.
Fittingly, he reached three figures with a flick for six over backward square leg.
“The wind was going to the short boundary, so we just tried to target that,’’ Stepien said on Monday.
“It felt good to make a good score, but the main thing was that the team had a good win.
“Nick Ross and I tried to bat them (Casey) out of the game and we set a goal of getting more than 200.”
Stepien was involved in partnerships of 113 with Mack Harvey (50) and 67 with Nick Ross (28) as the Blues posted 4-202 off 20 overs.
Former Strathfieldsaye paceman then completed a great day for Bendigo products when he took 4-35 for the Blues as Casey fell 83 runs short of victory.
Carlton also scored a good win on Sunday in a T20 clash with Melbourne University.
Stepien was bowled by Victorian leg-spinner Fawad Ahmed for 17 in Carlton’s eight-wicket win.
Crone was rested on Sunday to prepare for this week’s Futures League clash against Tasmania.
Meanwhile, Liam Bowe spun Essendon’s first XI to victory in Sunday’s game against Fitzroy-Doncaster.
The former Sandhurst spinner took 4-23 off his four overs in the 68-run win. James Seymour made 10 for the Bombers and Isaac Conway added seven not out.
Rain washed out most of the first and second XI matches on Saturday.
In second XI action, former Bendigo Cricket Club batsman James Ryan made 37 on Saturday and 24 on Sunday for Essendon in two T20 defeats.
