The historic hotel, on the corner of Mitchell and Wills streets, has sat idle for close to 10 years.
But it is now home to restaurant chain Lazy Moe's, with service beginning last night.
The restaurant hopes to begin service at 7.30am from mid-next week, but at the moment is opening late morning until the kitchen closes at 10.30pm.
