Privately owned luxury boats berthed at marinas across Australia can be booked for overnight accommodation on the service, which operates in more than 60 countries.
The boats don’t move, so guests don’t require any sailing experience. They simply use a classy boat in a marina as a base.
The online booking service features boat-owner and guest review systems, and the calendar allows boat owners to block-out time for personal use of their vessels.

Discover the spectacular and rugged scenery of Wilpena Pound and the magnificent Flinders Ranges, the largest mountain range in South Australia, on Flinders Ranges Odysseys’ new four-day tour.
The small-group, escorted tour is priced from $3184 per person twin-share ex Adelaide, including all meals and exploration of the Flinders Ranges in air-conditioned Mercedes Benz vehicles.
Accommodation is at Rawnsley Park Station for two nights, with one night at the famous Prairie Hotel.
Rawnsley Park Station is located on the southern side of Wilpena Pound, a magnificent natural amphitheatre and the centrepiece of Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park.
The Prairie Hotel at Parachilna is an oasis on the cusp of the rugged Flinders Ranges east-side, and desert plains west-side, sweeping toward Lake Torrens. Step into a haven of character, charm, creature comforts, country hospitality and great food.
The NSW Riverina town of Temora makes a somewhat unlikely appearance in the travel pages courtesy of an internationally touring exhibition of Leonardo da Vinci machines that is running at its aviation museum from September 1 to October 29.
The exhibition features more than 60 displays, most of which are interactive machines created from original da Vinci drawings.
Highlights include the world’s first military tank, the bicycle, the scuba suit, a spring-powered car, an aerial screw that was the precursor of the helicopter, the glider and the parachute.
The exhibition is on loan from the Museum of Leonardo da Vinci in Florence.
Intrepid Travel is offering a saving of $60 on a two-day Red Centre experience, with departures from September 16-30.
The trip combines witnessing an Uluru sunset, and taking a guided walk around the base of the rock, with the chance to get up close and personal with the spectacular Kata Tjuta rock formations.
The package includes one night in a furnished, tented camp, transport in all-terrain vehicles with an expert guide, breakfast and a dinner of native food under the stars.
Prices are from $335 per person.
