But attendees at this year’s event will also find a section devoted to Marilyn Monroe.
Richard Arman has been fascinated by the Hollywood star since he saw The Seven Year Itch, 28 years ago.
Marilyn walked into her first scene, and Mr Arman found himself thinking, “Who on Earth is that?!”
“The more you learn about Marilyn, the more you like her,” he said.
He now has more than 100 collectables, many of which are magazines and documents such as invoices.
“I’m trying to tell a story – that she was a real person, beyond the icon,” Mr Arman said.
He welcomed the opportunity to speak to people about Marilyn during this weekend’s event.
In addition to the Remembering Marilyn display, the show will feature a Wild West collection, and another devoted to Humphrey B Bear.
Those keen to delve into military history can expect to see examples of armour, crests, weaponry, and a Victoria Cross research display.
Re-enactors will bring history to life by donning period costumes relevant to the American Civil War.
The show runs from 9am – 5pm on Saturday, and until 3pm on Sunday, at the Bendigo Major League Multisports Complex in Waterson Court, Golden Square.
