The Superoos advanced to their second straight grand final with a powerful 52-27 victory at Newbridge.
It was their third sizable win over the Maroons this season.
The margin was 23 goals in round two and 27 goals in round 11.
Superoos coach Jenny Clohesy praised her players work ethic and willingness to finish the game as strongly as possible.
“We’ve still got a little bit of tweaking to do, but I was really pleased with the way the girls played and kept going,” she said.
“We didn’t sit back in the last quarter and be intent to just get over the line, they played the game right out, which was really pleasing.
“It shows what mental state they are in.
“We were up in the first quarter, but you don’t win a game in the first quarter, it’s what you keep doing from there.”
Such was the Superoos’ dominance, Clohesy said it was difficult to limit the best players list to just two or three.
“You could have given out cards for people to vote their best player and ended up with seven different players,” she said.
“You wouldn’t have cringed with any of the names.”
The Maroons were dealt a blow with their skipper Jane Reid limited to just one quarter with an injury.
The star shooter started the game on the sidelines and came on in the second quarter.
Unlike the first week of finals when the Superoos had the bye and played Heathcote District team Colbinabbin in a practice match, Clohesy said he side was unlikely to have another competitive hit-out before the grand final.
Newbridge’s hopes of defending its 2016 premiership title will rest on next week’s preliminary final match against Pyramid Hill, which defeated Calivil United in Sunday’s first semi-final at Bridgewater.
It was the Bulldogs’ third victory over the Demons this season, with the margin being seven goals less than their round 18 win a fortnight ago against the same opponent.
Calivil United ends the season in fourth place following its elimination final victory over Bridgewater last weekend.
Pyramid Hill will be seeking to atone for a disappointing qualifying final against the Maroons, when they were beaten 49-33.
The clash at Maiden Gully will pit the league’s two most recent premiership winners against each other.
