The Go Wild Kids' Market will be held in Strathdale twice a year and will feature local and Melbourne businesses, along with food trucks and face-painting.
Event organiser Shona O'Brien said the curated market would feature 50 stalls offering hand-crafted children’s products, such as clothing, toys, decor and linen.
“It’s all high-quality products and about 95 per cent of stallholders are mums that work from home,” she said.
“If people are looking for beautiful designer products for their child that are unique and won’t be found in shops, come and check it out.”
The Bendigo mother-of-two is no stranger to markets, having created Bendigo’s Trove Market with Linda Whillance in 2014, and then Melbourne’s Swagger Child Design Market, which has been running for three years.
“I just decided I wanted to bring [the Go Wild Kids' Market] to Bendigo because I missed having a market in Bendigo,” Mrs O'Brien said.
“It’s the only children’s market we’ve had for a few years now.”
The Go Wild Kids' Market will be held on August 26 from 10am to 3pm at the Strathdale Hall, Crook Street Park Precinct. Entry is $2 or free for children under 12.
