The organisation is run by and for refugee and migrant groups in the region and offers a range of services across education, community programs and arts and events.
LCMS chairperson Abhishek Awasthi said it was an exciting time in the region and for the organisation.
“The 2016 census confirmed that our population is becoming more culturally diverse as we see new and emerging communities settle in the region,” he said.
“We have just appointed a new executive officer, Kate McInnes, and this is also an opportunity to revitalise the organisation and ensure it is doing its best to serve culturally diverse communities.”
The two positions will fill vacancies left by Anuty Lyn Warren and Dung Vu.
LCMS is encouraging people who have a well-developed understanding of refugee settlement or multicultural issues, skills in leadership, governance, strategic planning or finance and a high level of integrity and standing in the community to apply.
Applications close on Friday, August 4.
