The classical guitarist sold more than 25,000 copies of his album that features his original Celtic, Flamenco and Classical compositions performed by Gypsey Fire.
As part of the anniversary celebrations Fagan is performing in Castlemaine with original Gypsey Fire member Romana Geerman.
Geerman is a violinist who was born in Prague and played with the Australian Pops Orchestra for several years in Australia.
Gypsy Fire was founded by Matthew in 1997 and pioneered Gypsy jazz in Australia with fiery performances at Port Fairy, The National Folk and Wangaratta Jazz festivals.
Fagan will perform with a unique 10-string Spanish guitar and six-string Godin guitar along side Geerman.
Gypsy Fire will perform at the Castlemaine Senior Citizens Centre in Mechanics Lane on Friday, July 28, from 7pm. Pre-booked tickets are $20. Visit www.trybooking.com/QUFT for more.
