Senior constable Karl Kerschbaumer said it was the third time in the past six months the farming property had been the target of crime.
He said the gates, two of which were 12 feet across and the other was 10 feet across, were taken from the sheep yards on the Axedale-Crosbie Road during the past two weeks.
They were valued at a total of $400.
“The property’s had theft related matters three times in the last six months,” he said.
“It’s a bit of a common occurrence, unfortunately.”
