Play was delayed for the best part of 30 minutes after Noonan was knocked out in a sling tackle late in the third quarter at Princes Park.
Noonan was attended to by ambulance officers on the ground and was transported to Ballarat Hospital.
“Ashley had an MRI scan and it showed no problems,’’ Ashley’s father, Kelvin Noonan, said on Tuesday.
“He spent Saturday night in hospital under observation. Sunday and Monday he was tired, but he’s back at work today and he’s feeling a lot better. He’s not going to have any problems.”
Noonan said the family was grateful that Castlemaine Football Netball Club had made contact to check Ashley’s condition.
