Leading Senior Constable Shane Bourke said the window at Target was smashed on Saturday afternoon following a verbal altercation involving an unknown offender and store staff.
Police believe the offender kicked the window.
However, investigations are ongoing.
Leading Senior Constable Bourke asked that anyone with information call the Bendigo Police Station on 5448 1300.
