A blue Honda Civic sedan was travelling south on High Street when a yellow Nissan Patrol four-wheel-drive collided with it about 8.30am.
Police said the driver of the four-wheel-drive, a man in his 80s, failed to give way when attempting to turn right from High Street into Camp Street.
“He’s simply failed to give way and has hit her on her side and pushed her into the traffic light,” Acting Sergeant Lee Clayton said.
Paramedics attended the scene but no one was injured.
“Pay attention and be careful on wet roads,” Acting Sergeant Clayton said.
