IT'S been a long time coming, but Colbinabbin and White Hills finally face-off in a grand final rematch this Saturday.
And what a game it shapes as with both sides entering the round seven contest undefeated.
With the halfway point of the home and away season fast approaching, Grasshoppers premiership coach Liz Cobbledick said it was a game both sides would be excited about.
"I know White Hills have recruited well, so I'd expect them to be even stronger than last year all across the court," she said.
"We're expecting a really tough game."
Cobbledick, the reigning league best and fairest, said her side would be below full-strength, with Gabby Barlow still battling a back injury from last season, and 2016 grand final best-on-court Lou Dupuy slowly making her way back from injury after playing one quarter last week against North Bendigo.
One likely inclusion for the Grasshoppers is likely to be goal shooter Annie Cobbledick, with the sisters causing all sorts of problems for the Bulldogs in last round's 69-25 win.
"We'll have at least one more player unavailable, but it's still a good chance to bring up some of the juniors," Cobbledick said.
"We do really want to see where we stack up against one of the top teams in the competition."
The match will pit the league's highest scoring team in Colbinabbin against the league's best defence.
White Hills has conceded just 110 goals this season at an average of 22 per game.
The Demons survived a tough battle last week to defeat Lockington-Bamawm United by 17 goals, their superior fitness proving crucial after the game was tight for the first three quarters.
In other games this weekend, Huntly will look to back-up its good win over Leitchville-Gunbower against an in-form Mount Pleasant.
Both the Hawks (sixth) and Blues (third) enter the match level tied on three wins with the fourth-placed Bombers and Lockington-Bamawm United (fifth).
Leitchville-Gunbower will look to regroup against North Bendigo, while Heathcote and Elmore will both be looking for their first win this season at Barrack Reserve.
