HDFNL started strongly and led by two goals at the first change.
From the second quarter onwards it was one-way traffic as CMFNL took control of the game.
A 14-6 second term and 11-7 third quarter gave CMFNL a 10-goal lead at three quarter-time.
HDFNL coach Jodie Lake made plenty of changes in the second half in a bid to lift her side.
Skipper Jess Geary moved from goal shooter to wing defence and then to centre, but the moves did little to hinder CMFNL’s dominance.
CMFNL outscored HDFNL 16-10 in the final quarter to run out 48-32 winners.
CMFNL goal shooter Jac Clark, from Tyntynder, led the way with 25 goals.
Goal attack Ash Jenkyn led the scoring for HDFNL, with 18 goals. Geary added six goals and Laura Philbrick, who played goal shooter in the second half, chipped in with eight goals.
