UPDATE 3.30pm: Ambulance Victoria spokesman John Mullen said up to six people were injured in the crash, including two primary school-aged girls.
Mr Mullen said one girl suffered a shoulder injury, while the other had cuts and abrasions.
He said a man in his 80s and another elderly person were being assessed at the scene.
A man in his 40s was being treated for back pain.
EARLIER: Emergency services have been called to a two-car crash at Hesket, outside Woodend.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesman confirmed paramedics were called the scene near the intersection of Romsey Road and Straws Lane shortly after 2.30pm.
