Country Fire Authority district 20 operations officer Bryan Suckling said crews arrived at the Barnadown Road property at about 1am and the shed had to be evacuated.
“They were both well alight when crews arrived and people who lived in the shed area, they managed to get some friends down the road to put them up for the night,” he said.
Mr Suckling said the cause of the fire was yet to be determined but it was not being treated as suspicious.
